It is a 'special ceramic' made by firing bamboo charcoal in a special method to achieve a white color.
Special ceramics are porous and adsorb and decompose volatile harmful chemicals (VOCs) through microscopic pores. Their adsorption performance reduces levels to below the standards set by the government (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) in a short time. Additionally, their ability to control E. coli, filamentous fungi, and tuberculosis bacteria has been recognized by the Preventive Medicine Society.
